It’s me
Long ago, in an Idaho far away, Daniel Hope picked weeds from a sugar beet field as a summer job. Between curses muttered at the mosquitos and pop lyrics shouted at the sky, he vowed that he would get a desk job when he grew up.
He got pretty good at writing and tried his hand at journalism, editorial, marketing, and finally UX design. After all that, he now sits at a desk and silently wishes he was outside, so … mission accomplished, or whatever.
For the last decade, he has worked with UX design teams to make Google products easier to understand. His frank questions have been generously characterized as The Voice of Reason by design teams. He lives in Colorado with his family. His nerdy interests have been generously characterized as Super Lame by his kids.
